Product Manager

Position Overview:

The Product Manager is responsible for buidling and maintaining the product roadmap for both Foresight ROI's web application and internal software.  They are expected to work cross-functionally with the Data and Client Service teams to ensure Shopper Planner is meeting the needs for end users.  In addition, the Product Manager will be responsible for managing Foresight's relationship with our development partner.  Some day-to-day responsibilities include: working directly with clients/end users to understand their shopper marketing planning process, managing end-user support for Shopper Planner, working with internal teams to plan development for our internal software solution.

    • Takes initiative:  Self-directed and works independently. Able to see the problems and find a solution even if outside functional lane.  Proactive throughout project life-cycle.
    • Data Driven: Ability to define and monitor commercial success metrics through analytics and user feedback.
  • Domain Expertise: Has experience working with marketers and understands their planning process.  Expertise in building software solutions that evolve with the needs of the end users.  Ability to understand and prioritize new system functionality and work with development teams to deliver on-time. 
  • Teamwork: Team player able to work with both internal and external clients.  Active listener who can get at the heart of what end-users need.
  • Organization/Communication: Tracks and communicates bug fixes and new functionality to internal and external users.  Socialize product features with customers to develop product education content. 

Required:

  • 3+ years experience in managing software products
  • Experience working with marketers and understanding their needs during the planning process
  • Collaborative with the ability to work closely with both business and development partners
  • Working proficiency with MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Skilled with data visualization platforms (Tableau, Power BI)
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • High levels of self-motivation and intellectual curiosity
